On a very busy day at the dealership, one where a significant amount of advertising and promotion funds have been committed, we set up shop and unobtrusively record what goes on. We call this the "game film".  Sports teams know the benefit of reviewing what transpired on important game days and so should you.

We also, with clipboard in hand, record and follow every "up" that comes on the lot. This is effective automobile dealership lot monitoring. We record the name of the salesperson who took the up, and how far in the sales process they got with the customer; any "turns" made are followed until the customer leaves or is sold. In the event the customer leaves without buying we get the complete story from the salesperson for later summary and review by management. After reviewing the video and audio content back in our offices, a "game film" and detailed report is prepared for the dealer to review.
