On a very busy day at the dealership, one where a significant amount of advertising and promotion funds have been committed, we set up shop and unobtrusively record what goes on. We call this the "game film". Sports teams know the benefit of reviewing what transpired on important game days and so should you. We also, with clipboard in hand, record and follow every "up" that comes on the lot. This is effective automobile dealership lot monitoring. We record the name of the salesperson who took the up, and how far in the sales process they got with the customer; any "turns" made are followed until the customer leaves or is sold. In the event the customer leaves without buying we get the complete story from the salesperson for later summary and review by management. Our inquiry process is such that salespeople are held accountable for every "up" they take that day. After reviewing the video and audio content back in our offices, a "game film" and detailed report is prepared for the dealer to review. The "game film" highlights areas needing improvement and offers suggestions. This is automobile dealership lot monitoring and automotive sales training all rolled into one. One that not only produces results that day but for every day after when the suggestions and solutions are implemented. "Eye On Sales" is an invaluable aid to properly developing your staff. Key Benefits
Effective automobile dealership lot monitoring is a challenge on any day. We will train management throughout the day on what matters most and how they can continue with effective lot monitoring without our help. The problem with most lot monitoring efforts is that it is delegated to a person with no authority or influence. Automobile dealership lot monitoring, more than anything else, can move the needle on sales today! Car dealerships are targeted by many different automotive sales training firms. These automotive sales training firms target either the selling strategy or the personal habits and motivation of the salesperson. This is all well and good however most car dealerships have an excellent approved selling system or strategy and salespeople who are well trained in it. What they don't have is accountability; are the salespeople using the system? That's where we can help. Please call John Donnelly at (702) 498-8777 with any questions or fill out the form below.
